That’s literally illegal. You can’t make a deal with someone, then change the law to benefit you, and then try and retroactively apply the new law to your previous contract.
If people knew their wages would be automatically be deducted, they definitely would have viewed taking out loans differently. This is a blatant, boldfaced swindle. Most likely aimed toward higher educated, because they tend to vote more liberal. But it’s the GOP, so what else is new.
