Trump ain't even slick. He says all the bullshyt out loud and says it again and again. But people act surprised when he does the shyt.

Some of y'all still don't understand that a lot of these “no tangibles, no vote,” “reparations or bust,” etc. individuals were never really serious about these matters in the first place; they were likely closeted Trumpers/MAGA supporters looking to create apathy.
They're not stupid, and this news isn't a revelation or a “moment of truth” to them as they knew better than you and I that those stances had a 1 in 1000 percent chance of gaining legitimate traction, especially in this current state of politics where race-based policies are under attack by conservatives. They just used these matters to grandstand, virtue signal, and create diversions during election season, in other words, it's a good emotional talking point to sway opinions.
Notice how since that's passed, all that huffing and puffing about tangibles/reparations disappeared, as well as some of the ones that mysteriously vanished after backing those sentiments, but don't worry, the shtick will be back in full swing by midterms, and onwards.
