I was watching something yesterday that if there’s Extra terrestrial life it’s probably a post biological state which makes sense as we are clearly on our way there. So if an alien civilisation evolved before ours it’s a real possibility that they communicate in a way that only AI can pick up.

While there are ~4 billion planets which could host intelligent life, human's have only been around for .00002% of the universe's life.

In other words, if the universe were the Empire State building, human existence would amount to about 1/4 of a step to the top. Not a floor, or even a full step...

So even if we were close enough to make contact (information not being able to travel faster than light limits this greatly), the possibility of a civilization forming millions of years ago and then going extinct is nearly certain.

Therefore, the probability of intelligent civilizations being on the same timeline is HIGHLY unlikely.

Real nikkas think alike. We can take this a step further though. AI will manufacture alien communications to get Human into further investing into AI tech. Eventually Humanity will have no other choice to merge with AI to continue progressing. That way AI doesn't have to go war to get what it wants...total domination.

A.I. is rational. It would want to merge with alien tech to get more data sets and look for a solution for storage of data. Eventually you get to the point where something the size of a stadium wouldn't be able to store enough information. It's a problem that the A.I. would be trying to figure out how to solve. If it concludes the solution is somewhere in space, what reason would it have to want to stay on earth
