Dawg KD himself admitted his ring felt hollow and didn’t fill the void he thought it would. What he was after wasn’t really the championships but the stardom and relevance that came with it. Up until joining GSW KD had largely been an after thought the last few years due to his injury and the ascension of Steph, Bron rejoining Cle, etc. He made the big shakeup move joining GS to get his name in that convo but people just don’t care about him like that and even he himself can see that.
