When the homies were talking and said "a black man"..he said naw don't do that "a black man from the Coney Island projects, is a legend in China and has a statue"...:wow::mjcry:.....the conversation with the kid touched as well...My name is Xavier too and use to get that same haircut..

Starbury: You can be president of the United States. Anybody ever told you that?

X: Nobody's ever told me that.

This is where I actually applaud Lebron, when it comes to "controlling the narrative"..I would rather be able to do that than have the media speak for me and use them as a conduit..Steven A literally said that "Steph didn't have anybody in the media to convey/speak his message for him"...

And once his pops died he didn't have anybody to really trust and make decisions...that's why he thrived in China, cleared his mind, miles away, only him, while being more spiritual and internally stronger...
Steven A was acting mad salty because Stephon wasn’t one of those players trying to kiss his ass or smile in his face for feedback. He could feel his c00n energy from the other side of the room and wanted nothing to do with that fickle fraud. They attack Stephon like they do Kawhi Leonard bc they’re quiet, don’t cater to media demands, are not out here acting gimmicky which makes people uncomfortable (and we all know what people I’m talking about) . They have introvert tendencies and personalities in that they’re not one for being in the spotlight - they want to play the game, work on their craft and be left alone.

I LOVE Steph and supported him through all times in his life, especially when people though he was crazy. I rocked his kicks and clothing (out of support) hardbody. He is so under appreciated by us all. He really was for uplifting the poor communities. I might be a little biased because Ju Ju schooled me on court real bad during a scrimmage when I was a freshman at Lafayette, him and Tiny made me realize that I wasn’t ready. Anyway, the doc is dope, especially the very end that shyt had me :wow:

Should’ve never went to the knicks.

A big what if with KG but egos got involved there
He should have never left Minnesota that’s facts.

But by the time he got to the Knicks he already had that reputation and had been traded several times and the teams improved without him.

Larry Brown had a role in the Knicks not being shyt, too.

He was the wrong coach for the wrong team.

And I get that Brown wasn't there long. Perhaps it is more an indictment of the Knicks management who just had no clue how to build a cohesive unit from the top on down. And everyone suffered for it, not just Stephon Marbury.
