There really is a paper thin line between being honored and being burdened. To be recognized as a legend is something that LeBron James is no stranger to. Being a legend indicates that not many opponents are on your level. However, what happens when that acknowledgement indicates that no one on your own team is on your level? What happens when that honor indicates that your team is dishonorably bad?

Was it Lebron's fault?
No.

Would the fate of his team be the same if health wasn't a factor?
No.

But... does it show the sad realization that the world's greatest player is burdened by a depleted team with role players, who's feet are too small for the shoes the role requires.

Whether it be J.R. & Shump's false rise to deliverance falling flat during the finals...

Or Delladova's "figuring out how to stop the best shooter in the world" and eventually looking like the ultimate defensive ponzi scheme showing Stephen Curry's mental state is the only thing that can stop Stephen Curry.

Or Lebron's two & three, Love & Kyrie showing that their own worse enemy is their own health.

One thing is certain...Lebron didn't earn this MVP, regardless if they give it to him or not...

His lack of a team earned it for him.

Godspeed Lebron.
