The thing is, when this get built, not if, its gonna cause more drama with California's publicly funded highspeed train.

Brightline just finished from Miami to Orlando. The problem is US legislation still hampers them. They aren't allowed to let the trains run nearly as shady as they can because of the automobile lobby.

They're working on that, but it's facing a ton of obstacles.
The tax revenue from the businesses that would benefit from this will pay for it 10x over
This train is guaranteed to generate net income for the government
What exactly are those problems. Any infrastructure problems will cost major money to fix regardless so its apples to oranges, especially considering multi state or multi city constructions will be huge revenue.
