This will sound made up but I spent two-weeks (12/13 days) in a Japanese detention center.
They make you clean the cell every morning when you wake up.
There is no threat to safety, but the place is designed to drive you insane. Outside of 30 minutes on weekdays, you're completely locked down in a small cell, seated on the floor.
I, of course, never came close to breaking, but other dudes were crying to going wild.
