Fellas, these women have an image and public perception to maintain. 100s and 1000s of Followers on IG. These women are semi-celebrities. These women desire a man that can enhance her celebrity like image. At the least maintain it. And these aren't just the women that be on Fresh and Fit. These are most independent women. If social media is important to her, she's probably this way.

I know a lot of men like keeping it real. :mjlol: That'went out of style with Blackberry's. Keeping it real is Corny now.

Celebrities / Rap life has spread almost the working class Black Culture. "Fake it, til you Make it" Is the motto.:blessed:

It's all one big custom party and you're not dressed.

So if you're wondering why things aren't working out for you, with your decent job, 2009 Charger, you're honest, loyal, solid, modest, come from a great family. :camby:

Nothing cares about that shyt no more. That's so early 90s a before.

Do you have a Condo downtown?

Where your Cartier Shades?

Where's your Hellcat or Vette?

Nikka what kind of belt you got on?

Fukk a 401k plan, cash it out and stunt with it. Max out them credit cards to show your followers money aint a thang?

I gotta admit, some of your threads do be hitting a lot of people in unexpected ways.

From these responses, a lot of dudes too simpin to admit to this.

Clout chasing culture is reaching its apex and the 9-5 black man is basically an afterthought. These females with their 5k followers on IG think that they are actual celebs and think that the likes of Future, Michael B Jordan, Gucci Mane, and others are their EQUALS :why: . These delusional broads think that they are the lead of the big movie and act like they can do no wrong.

I shared a story yesterday about a chick I dated a few years back who ghosted me. Only reason I can think she ghosted me was because of the rental whip I was pushing while my real car was in the shop. Me affording a nice car is not an issue. Everything was going smoothly until she saw my tiny ass Tercel or Corolla.

It's definitely a thing...
Whats crazy is she probably got that same whip and was letting baby daddy push that motherfukker all over town :mjlol:

Nah O.P. has a point. :ehh: I've been telling brehs, if your dating in 2023 it's necessary that you dress like a scammer/rapper. Or close to it if you're not trying to be super flashy. You just have to have some sort of "drip" these days

That thread about the 09 all star game fits just reminded me how simple fashion was and how it was easier to pull while rocking anything back then lol.

Now? :camby::bryan:

Yeah, especially if you look young and you black. Gotta look like a scammer mixed with clout and a good group of friends.

There’s 1000000s of women who are riding the bus with their bf daily or taking long ass Uber ride to see their dikk appointment

Trust me it’s not the car :mjlol:
Gonna disagree

I was similar to that military guy op described.

When I was pushing a dodge stratus, I was pulling but wasn’t getting claimed or anything.

I’m a car dude anyway, I’m from the south, so once I got the Monte Carlo (2nd favorite car) on 22’s, certain females started kicking it more and even telling people we were together without me even knowing.

I’ve seen it work more than not. You can still pull, but like DMX says “once they see you got this and this and this… to some bytches that nikkas the shyt”

(Paraphrasing btw).

I go into more detail in the ghosted thread. Shorty was thorough, Northwestern grad, worked for Deloitte, foine as fukk, etc etc...but she struck me as one of them wannabe or boss bytch in training types. She was 26-27 maybe and I was 33 at the time so I was a lot more established in my career. She added me on every damn social media platform as a result.

We ubered to my apartment hung out and fooled around for a few. I decided to drive her home, which I shouldn't have for 3 reasons, it was late, I was drunk, and she stayed on the west side of Chicago. But when I walked to my car the energy changed. I dunno. I haven't speculated on it in years, but she straight ghosted me. I saw her a few times out and about in the city after that, and the first time she faded me...second time I was with my people and I just ignored her. Is what it is. You win some, you lose some.

Wasn't the first time a chick acted goofy because of my car. My second car in my early 20s was a Bonneville without power windows, and I took some chick out who complained about that.

A lot of women of a certain type wanna be seen and enjoy the atmosphere, hence the premise of the thread. If you can find one who you vibe with who isn't caught up with all that, make that work.

One situation, I told one bird, bread was tight cause I had to handle a family emergency. She slowly distanced herself from me lol.
A girl from Queens I was kickin it with told me almost the same story. She said they went on a first date and she asked him to take her to Jue Lan for her bday coming up. She said he was always flashing designer on his Stories so she “knew he had it.” He said “money’s tight, we’ll see” and she blocked him.

BTW this girl has 5K on IG. Not a lot by any means but as you can see it doesn’t matter. They all wanna be Jayda Wayda and you gotta be Lil Baby or it’s clipped

I cosign this. The easiest time I had pulling chicks is when I was unemployed in the hood.

18 - 25 usually with not much going on will mess around with you.

But this thread is about women with a little career and/on following. They might let a Pookie smash, but he aint going to be on IG.
That honestly is the easiest time to grab women. I had so much free time on my hands so I had time to just chase chics and lay up with them all day. As I've gotten older and settled into my career my off time has become more precious so I really choose not to chase chics especially once you've dealt with enough of them to stop looking at surface level and actually look to see what type of headache/chaos she'll bring into your life before you pursue...
