When my family and I went to 5 Guys years ago, the bill ran us 80 dollars. This was before inflation.

Fukking heart attack , I don't know how expensive people's electric bill are in New York but it's real expensive where I'm at. Rent/leases are up , beef prices have doubled , gas prices are up , it's more expensive to operate a business & then you have to factor in the American culture of greed & taking advantage of a situation

I think the reason they do it is because no matter what you use to season food, eventually somebody will have a problem with it, and will threaten to sue or something. Even if its just some salt and pepper.
I havent had five guys since, but in the decade and a half since I've had some, I dont think I have ever had anything more bland and flavorless in my life. Burgers taste worse than shoe leather
