It's hard to recover from one blown game in a series, let alone two. They probably should have swept this series and they're down 2-3 heading into game six.Jokic gonna pack them boys up on Friday. Clippers had game 1 and game 4 and they straight blew it
No urgency, no fight, no hunger, no energy, no nothing. Had them on the ropes and let them off the hook. Not even upset.![]()
I knew playoff Harden was going to show up, called it at the start of the game.
Y'know, there needs to be a document or, better yet, a case study on Harden's postseason issues. It's weird because it's a common theme for him where at the start of a series, first 3 or 4 games, he'll play great, but then when the series stretches out to Games 5, 6, and possibly 7, it's like he shrinks and disappears.
It's gotta be a mental thing for him because the instant drop-off after the first 3 (sometimes 4) games of a series is crazy.
Same. The only difference is I overestimated the Clippers. Should have never made that mistake with any James Harden team.I had Clippers in 6.
But I underestimated the Nuggets.
By the time you get to game 5 both teams are locked in to what the other team is doing offensively. Harden can only play one way, control the ball pick and roll with a lob threat big / spam 3's / drive and flop, so once that is "figured out" he has no other recourse. It aint like he going to just come off a screen and shoot 12 freethrow line jumpers or something.I knew playoff Harden was going to show up, called it at the start of the game.
