Yeah his mom didn’t want the house that he got her when he was playing, she wanted to move back to the projects, probably the same unit

I think he got NBA pension money that kicks in at some point.
There’s no way this project is making enough money to justify this level of public humiliation
He needs millions of views to make this worth it and it ain’t gonna happen. But he looks like a complete bozo in all three episodes.
His girlfriend is beyond rough around the edges. Her parenting approach is wild: “Go to sleep and stay asleep” LOL

Bassy has been telling her the same story of his stupidity and she doesn’t want to hear it — but it’s on him for not going to see his PO and therapy sessions.

This last episode was tough to watch. His girlfriend clearly has some issues going on mentally and emotionally, so much so that I don’t know what she does all day. She just looks very sad 
Bassy thinks she doesn’t care about his problems, but it’s really that she’s probably been through way worse than him in her life so she just doesn’t have the emotional capacity to sit and cry with him all day.
Sebastian clearly got with her when they were both down bad and they ended up having some kids in that trauma bond.
I have no idea how life looks when he gets out because he’s never had a 9-5. Hopefully he can sober up and become a trainer or land a city job doing something. Anything at this point

He’s looking for sympathy and won’t get it because he made millions and wrecked his life on purpose.
But it doesn’t mean he doesn’t care because now with those younger kids he sees the while he’s gone a crazy bıtch will be raising them when it’s clear she’d rather them be asleep or on an iPad while she does whatever.
Better hope that little 6 month bid goes quickly and he better come out like an upstanding citizen and talking like Duncan Pinderhughes

Telfair played 10 seasons so he’ll get the max but it depends what age you start drawing from the pension. I believe if you wait until you’re 62 you’ll be paid $215,000 per year. At age 50 you’ll make $800 per month per year of service (only have to have been under contract for 1 game to accrue a year of service ). It goes lower the earlier you start taking from it.

Having met way too many people from NYC, I've always felt like most NY transplants get the biggest sigh of relief not having to burden themselves financially. Financial health goes a long way into mental health.
We're frustrated for him because his cousin went through a huge Renaissance far from the States and the bs, but if his t lady was already too programmed to not let a project unit go?
