I don't understand how someone brilliant enough to be a surgeon (and a groundbreaking one at that) can say some of the things Ben Carson says out loud.
Have you seen his fanbase? I doubt any of the republicans believe that bullshyt that spout.

Neil Degrasse Tyson says some pretty stupid things too sometimes. Then again, you realize he's only a master of his own field, Astrophysics. Like Ben Carson isn't a master of Political Sciences, or a Law grad. He's an MD.

Nah.. all the media attention has just been on the Republicans (Trump basically). Once the democrats begin their debates, then political dollars will shift the media's attention to the dems. As for not having a credible candidate, the Republicans have even less of that. The two candidates leading the Repubs (Trump and Carson) are not viable candidates in the long run.

:dahell:

Nah the truth is Democrats just haven't been kicking any ass and Hillary got threw slap under the bus over those emails. But I'll let you cook, breh.

Public opinion is that the Republicans are putting up better candidates. I'll give you that they aren't viable but let's not be idealistic here.:shaq2: That's how the Democrats lost all those seats in the first place. They still haven't learned from any of their mistakes. And then people like you come along and give them a pass over trivial stuff like 'media attention shifting':aicmon:. They are playing garbage politics breh. More losses headed their way soon.:scusthov: They're about to be late 80s Democrat party status...back when Dukakis got that work. And it's their own fault.

Not sure why that sentence is bolded. The media attention is obviously on the Repubs at the moment due to Trump's celebrity. People tune in to watch Trump and his antics and so the media gives the public what it wants.

In which realm are the Republicans putting up better candidates? Based on what? Who exactly is this beacon of modernity and reform for the Repubs that you speak of?

All of the polls have Hillary winning in the national election. You must not be paying close attention are you?

The dems have held office two terms in a row, and you're talking about dems losing ground. The Replubican party was afraid it would fracture based on tea party politics last election. Are we talking about the same party that put up Sarah Palin as a candidate? :mjlol:

The demography of the nation is shifting and minority populations are increasing. The political landscape will be quite different a few decades from now than they currently are, and Republicans better toe the line with more progressive stances or they will get phased out. :usure:
