How have the locals been treating you? And how's the COL?
Locals are super friendly compared to mainland locals. You just treat them and the island with respect and you'll get it back.... unless your white (not all, but I've seen more discrimination against whites than any other race), a lot of locals off the bat have this stigma and grudge against them.
