The Shane return promo was true. Not the part with Vince's secrets. The part where Shane came back for control. Vince is tired of the vanilla midgetry his son-in-law has brought to the company and regrets having his daughter as the heir to his kingdom. Of course, HHH and Stephanie believe this is all storyline.

Wrestlemania: Shane vs Taker goes second to last. Shane wins, to the surprise of HHH, who throws a tantrum because that wasn't the promised result. The main event entrances start with Reigns coming to thunderous boos. HHH's music doesn't come... but instead...















The returning MEAN STREET POSSE comes out dragging the legit knocked out body of HHH. Reigns is confused, the crowd is confused, Shane comes out too and ORDERS Reigns to pin HHH, and he does. Show closes with Shane raising Reigns's hand and with a smark crowd conflicted as hell, not knowing if booing Reigns or cheering Shane.
