Seems like a contradiction to me. I'm pretty sure most people who get HIV don't think of themselves as being "substantially at risk" for getting it, except for a portion gay males and needle users. I can imagine the former group taking the pill but not the latter. Most of the women who get it never see it coming.
If HIV is a concern just put some earwax on your finger and jab it inside her vagina. If it burns and/or some foamy white stuff starts coming out. Get the fukk outta there!

I remember an article last year where doctors were trying to market it towards Black women too given that they’re high risk given the amount of DL men they might encounter.

What happens if your life partner cheats with someone who may be exposed to the virus? I think I saw some statistic that said half of gay black men will be exposed to the virus at some point in their lifetime.
Furthermore, with a statistic like that, are gay guys even using the pill/condoms? Preventive measures appear to be ineffective.

in order to be on prep, you need insurance, get a doctor to prescribe it to you, check in with the doctor every 3 months to get a STD check...lower class gay men don't have access to all of that and as you can see by this thread, the education either...if this was some shyt that was in aisle 3 next to the cold and flu medicine, it would definitely be effective...

With the enactment of the ACA and healthcare being more accessible, shouldn't we be seeing more of a downward trend? It appears to be sort of an inverse relationship between the uninsured rate in the black community and the HIV rate.
