A question about Ben Carson and Black Social Conservatism

( DISCLAIMER: im not a ben carson supporter, i don't even know all of his policies or stances, i'm just asking a question)

I was born in the early 80's and growing up in the south in a 100% black christian environment and I heard these statements all the time:

- marriage is between a man and a woman
- abortion is against god
- homosexuality is against god and the bible
- science and the big bang theory is against god and the bible

I'm talking my parents, my neighbors, people in the church, family members, overheard in the store etc etc etc....

now fast forward to 2015 we're clowning ben carson for saying these things? do black church folks not believe these things any more?

can't lie, watching and reading white liberals shyt all over ben carson for saying these things has me kind of because they're essentially clowning my family, and the older black people that i grew up around.

Majority still believe them but Carson is a Republican so they tune out the message, attack the messenger. If he were a Democrat and saying the same things, he'd be giving Bill Clinton and Obama a run for GOAT status.

First off. Those aren't even the most pertinent issues. Most black people don't really vote on social issues.

Second the reason Ben Carson gets clowned and not your grandma is because your grandma isn't trying to be the President and run the country off easily refutable, non scientific nonsense. You don't want a president making decisions of what God purportedly told him.

And no most black people Christian or otherwise don't believe most of that stuff anyway.

That's economics. Black people support democrat for economy reasons. "Racial equality" is not simply wanting to be called equal with white folks. It's for having equal economic opportunity. Any social issue black people are voting for is directly tied to economics.

As I said black people don't vote on social issues. Economy is number one.

55% of black people believe in evolution. And even though 43% believe humans have not evolved, that doesn't necessarily mean they believe in the bible literally word for word.

So no it's not an "emotional argument" it's clearly demonstrable that the majority of black people absolutely do not believe in the bible literally.
