A question about White Supremacy

When you hear the words "White Supremacy" or "master race" who is the white person you're supposed to think of? The average cac does not look like DiCaprio () or whatever leading man image is being pushed by Hollywood to the rest of the world, the average cac is just as lame as the average person of any race, so how does the average cac suspend his disbelief enough to allow him to believe in white supremacy? What is the mechanism of mental gymnastics by which a regular racist cac who works a dead end job convince himself he's superior to everyone who isn't white (and several of whom are winning in life more than him) in the face of staggering evidence of his own regularness? Explain.

Edit: I'm not talking about the system of white supremacy, I'm talking about the blind faith a lot of white people have that they're existentially/genetically/biologically superior to other races, simply by virtue of being white.

And losers from both sides like to gravitate towards a group mentality as it covers their own shortcomings. Under a system of white supremacy, being white is the most important social, political and economic currency there is. The poorest, ugliest white person has more going for them than the richest, most attractive non-white person. That is the entire point of white supremacy.

So rednecks who have no personal achievements to be proud of will start to claim the victories of heyday supremacists like Hitler so they can eat off a reputation to which they have no connection besides a very tenuous racial one? So it's a defense mechanism, an artificially created superiority to hide their actual insecurity?
