when i was younger my cats used to bring mice and moles back. i dont remember ever seeing a bird though. my golden retriever killed a crow one time though

birds are nifty they are on alert 24/7 and can fly so they must be a level 100 catch for a cat. if any animal is up for the challenge though its a frisky cat. they must love hunting in the bushes and shyt.

My cat ate a whole squirrel a couple days ago :merchant:

All was left was the head on one side of the porch and the tail with the bottom of the spine attached on the other side of the porch :damn:

Kitty is ruthless out here

Birds have to sleep like any other animal. Cats kill them by the millions.

i dont doubt that at all. i look at the feline family and just realize those fukkers are not to be dealt with. they are sneaky, sly and smart whether they are big are small. truly kick ass animals

i want a Savannah cat but i doubt my apartment would let me nor do i have the space i think

man, we have an enclosed backporch. and my wife was cleaning up back there cuz it had a weird smell, and she said she found a pet cemetary of dead mice back there :scusthov:

I'm glad I wasn't home when that went down so I didn't have to see it or clean it up.

however, he's a good cat. he's totally declawed and can still effectively catch mice with ease.

as for inside the house, I haven't seen a mouse inside or in my basement in like a year (his litter and food are in the basement).

when we first got him last year, we saw him playing with a mouse he caught in the basement. like he was smacking it around with his paws while it was hurt, and then would pounce on it. we had it on video, but I cannot find it anymore.

I recall reading that cats are the only animal man could not fully domesticate.
They continue to hunt and exhibit predatory behavior despite captivity or training to the contrary, just like their feral counterparts, and regardless of whether or not they are full or feed regularly.
