Art house "horror" fans saw all the reviews and hype and are upset this was just a well done straight forward creature flick.
They'd be fellating themselves over this if their was no creature or horror and the film marketing was just a misdirection for a film about an Amish deaf family struggling to find themselves in a world full of sound. Us,humans,are truly the monsters of the world. Fade to black.What a film. Turning horror on its head.
Film was absolute piff.
Perfect blend of horror/monster movie. The family dynamic worked. Actors all did their thing and visuals/audio dope.

Finally saw this today. Was pretty whack. It's just dumb hard to describe it. Then it got predictable and the foreshadowing was so in your face. Had potential but failed to take advantage of the films back story. Too many why did that happen scenes.

daughter coulda been way more fukked up considering she felt like she offed her little brother.
My MOTY so far, no doubt. Been a while since I've seen a horror film where the creature didn't disappoint. I enjoyed Black Panther just not as much as some folks. Solid comic book movie but a bit too predictable

well the shyt dude was drawing on the board said they had body armor which is why nobody shot at them. Plus they're fast. unless they're all huddle up, shooting a tank shell would be pointless
i cant remember what they showed the military shooting at them but it definitely wasnt getting the job done. When ol girl shot it, it opened its head to show its vulnerability which is why it was easy to kill. I feel that a scientist would've been figured this out IRL after they found out they used sonar to see and shyt but hey its a movieThat was one of my questions... They seemed really easy to kill...
