well they all do it for the money.

but perhaps some are musicians first, businessmen second... while others are businessmen first, musicians second.

not sure how i would classify someone like 50. because through it all i truly do sense that he loves to make music.

The thing about 50 is...He doesn't like to be irrelevant. He can't just enjoy his easy money. It's too boring. That's why he plays these games and tries to get back with Chelsea Handler.

If anything is trash..its Oasis overrated band.:camby:

have one good song brehs and act like your some godlike legendary band.:pacspit:
*one good song that made waves in the states

how can a band most people wouldn't recognize outside of europe be more overrated than one of the most commercialized heavily promoted bands ever? :comeon:

If Oasis reach the point that Nirvana have...the point where pretentious tumblr kids who don't even listen to them are wearing shirts with their logo then you can call them overrated. Nirvana tapped into the middle america market leading to x100 the hype and the full force of the american media machine behind them, as things stand, they're just two bands with two critically acclaimed albums.

Is that your beef with Nirvana? Because if so then I kinda get it.. If feel the same with 2Pac, John Lennon and Hendrix where people just feel that it's "cool" to follow them as counter culture icons without really digging into the music and what they were about...The type of artists that get their t-shirts and posters sold at Target...

But as overhyped as Cobain is, he was a forward thinker and brilliant artist...Plus he was REALLY tortured...Not just pretending to be like a Kanye West....

The Ummah!
Kurt hated the fame

He went through so much in his early child hood, the music was an escape from that.

If anything, all that fame lead to his demise.

WHAT MADE THAT CACS LIFE SO HARD? sorry about the caps lock :to:

Kurt was definitely Anti-Mainstream/Materialism for sure.
