Instead of it being in a store it should be based off of the coronavirus quarantine, it starts off with the news advising a quarantine and theorizing the random mist clouding the world could be potentially harmful. Cutting to Trump speaking on it "tremendously". People ignoring the warning, until day three of the mist, the monsters wreak havoc on society, the protagonists are locked in their homes and the world can only contact via social media / live streaming. The end of the movie the protagonist leaves his home while live streaming with thousands of viewers, he makes it to his friends house, they get a car and get bodied at the end. Just a reimagining of The Mist I had, tell me what y'all think? 
Can Hap still do that yee ass scream at the end?
