I legit had a history teacher who believed that slavery was not the main factor in starting the Civil War, and wrote people up for suggesting otherwise.

You really think teachers were on the cutting edge of climate research in the 1970s/80s?

...Isn't that the premise of the documentary you posted; that we'd continue to see record low temps?

Check the 5:00 and 17:30 marks of your own source; especially where they predicted that California would be blanketed in snow and the snow in Buffalo, NY would never melt.

You've also failed to show how it debunks the warming climate since the 1970's.

Furthermore, unless I deliver quotes to you on a silver platter (God forbid you click the links and read the articles), I've posted no receipts.

Based on the above, I don't really think this went the way you thought it did.
