to me the words matter, i wouldn't call you a WS, but i would point out that these criminals can't commit genocide or be terrorists (well they could if there's an ideology behind their crime and i would actually hear that argument, but the only ideology i can come up with is capitalism and i don't think a lot of people want to go down that road rn) definitionally.

and i think that it does matter the words we use when we are discussing this issue. if they were capable of such things as genocide or were a terrorist organization then it means there's a much different structural problem.

they're criminals and should be treated as such. again though the micro treatment of the people terrorizing the community might make you feel better at night and give you minor eye for an eye satisfaction, but it's not gonna do anything to stop more criminals from arising. so i'm personally not interested in those discussions.

i do agree we are headed for tougher crime policies in this country, but i also have more nuanced takes, that i actually don't feel comfortable discussing on thecoli especially not in TLR, i learned long ago that this isn't really a place for serious conversations.

1.The judicial system is also laxed on purpose, they give these psychopath low bonds and less years so they can hit the streets terrorize people quicker.

I made a thread on Julius Jones to gain awareness of that case. He hung out with the wrong crowd (and yes innocent black men ending up in jail does happen). Its fukked up that his so called friends (who happen to be gang members) set him up and still can’t till this day fess up
