It's not about the quality of the opponent, but how they played...mainly Parker looking like Parker again. If he's got his quickness back and Kawhi is being disruptive and playing with energy, all they need is for jump shots to start falling like they were last year again.

but seeing tony go in the paint and patty shooting were very encouraging

Not really. Dudes who say they're washed up either ain't watching them play on a regular basis or just hating for the sake of. Spurs are done, they're not repeating.
