us senate is a state wide race, gerrymandering doesn't factor in.

Alabama has 1 Dem senator in like the last 40 years, (Doug Jones) but somehow it's black folks fault. Like they don't have archaic voting laws, hours or ID requirements or disenfranchisement, despite their heavy black populations,

Ditto with Mississippi.

So SCOTUS will overturn this? That's what you're suggesting? SCOTUS, the same court that overruled Dobbs, will overrule this?
that would actually be a way for them to get some cred back with the public

if they rule that citing the bible is OK, they fukkin embarrass themselves forever. whereas a ruling like this, on an issue that loses like 90-10 with the public, is a pretty safe way for them to be like "alright, we arent complete fukking lunatics' :dead:
