Explain that first and foremost music doesn't have a color, however certain types of music had their origins from particular groups and are tied culturally to those groups in question. So its in this way that "black" and "white" music exists, that doesn't mean you aren't allowed to do one of the other but rather that certain people are more common in one more so than the other.
