A TEST OF LOGIC...

You are a parent of 3 children (all older than 6 and young than 10) and you have a loving spouse...

One day while driving home with Child #1, you are caught in a situation where you can either save yourself or save Child #1...

Now, I already know most respondents will state that they would save Child #1, but isn't that STUPID...?

(1) If you die, then you are leaving a single mother with 3 young children, and recent sociology and psychology studies show that these types of families are more vulnerable to socioeconomic and psychosocial troubles...

You may be postponing your child's death, but then accelerating it towards a life of poverty, depression, substance abuse, suicide or worse...

So, your death is not guaranteed to do anybody any good...

(2) If you live, you can probably have another child and/or continue to be a good father to Child #2 and #3...

The decision to save yourself should be easy to make, and probably the one with the least risk of severely negative outcomes for your family...

If this is about logic then

1.) What will you tell your wife about how the child died, if you tell her what you did she'd probably run far far away with her other two children therefore ending up a single parent anyway

2.) If you will keep this a secret, how are you going to live with yourself knowing you couldn't do your job, which is to protect, with just 1 kid how will you protect 2? You'll probably become an alcoholic or something and blow through all the money that was supposed to have benefited your family

3.) There is very little logic involved when asking yourself whether or not to save a child's life, let alone a child you are related to or gave birth to. It's instinct, if you don't have it, get a vasectomy.

doesnt matter if i have 13 children. shyt i would risk my life for an uncle and i have like 15 of those. in the moment u dont think about the future. u think "shyt i want to spare this loved, take me instead"
