A tie is like a L though. I mean it's in limbo and won't happen to any of the other teams in the division.

How? you can still calculate win % If a team finishes 10-5-1 they have a better record than a team who finished 10-6. 9-6-1 > 9-7 and so on and so forth.

Although it happens, i wouldn't say there's "nothing wrong" with a tie.

Nothing wrong with it in regular season...The game can't go on forever...Plus, the longer the game goes on the more fatigued the players are, and the higher risk of injuries...

There shouldn't even be overtime in regular season...
