Agreed basketball games be in triple OT until a winner is decided why can't football do the same? If ties happened more often they would be more willing to change the rule.

my only thought is that they might call it a tie because these dudes are just gonna be dead after playing all that OT and shyt. i guess they could do a field goal shootout, but who the fukk wants to see that

Nothing wrong with it in regular season...The game can't go on forever...Plus, the longer the game goes on the more fatigued the players are, and the higher risk of injuries...

There shouldn't even be overtime in regular season...

How? you can still calculate win % If a team finishes 10-5-1 they have a better record than a team who finished 10-6. 9-6-1 > 9-7 and so on and so forth.

And there you have it. A tie may have helped us in the long run, we just need to figure out this damn O for it to even matter. Our WR's weren't getting any separation like AZ

Ties are good because no one gets hurt in the standings, and the game is too physical to keep going in the regular season
