these brothers were 1 of the most influential and innovative hip hop groups of the 90's. they ushered in a whole new movement along with their native tongues family and influenced a whole handful people from mos def and talib kweli to d'angelo, digable planets, the pharcyde, the roots, the neptunes, j dilla (r.i.p.), kanye west etc etc

put out some classic and great albums with the low end theory, midnight marauders, people's instinctive travels and the paths of rhythm and forever changed the face of hip hop music in the early 90's

who remembers the bonita applebum remix?! :ohlawd:

where you got them with groups like p.e., n.w.a., wu etc?

man I got the privilege to see these cats back in 96 when I was in high school. they were my FAVORITE rap group growing up hands down. more than wu tang. more than EPMD. more than gangstarr or outkast. they just made some great music. first 3 albums were 5/5 classics no doubt :rose:

hell, I still got the CD's to this day in my office at home.

As far as hip hop groups are concerned, they are one of the best.

My 2nd favorite group(only behind the WU)
