How do you factor in the lack of material with Cold Crush? They never released an album. They have a few singles. They have tapes of battles.

To this day...I've always played Lost Boyz music more than ATCQ, so it's LB Fam.
And I like all their albums...not just Legal Drug Money. Love, Peace & Nappiness and LB IV Life are both dope as hell.

How can they be albums? Aren't they crudely recorded tapes of performances?
I've tried listening to tapes of early 80s battles. The audio quality is so shytty it basically makes it impossible.
I'll take Tribe's first three over the best three Cold Crush tapes in a heartbeat. Over Run DMC too.
Props to Cold Crush for being pioneers and all that - but they were victims of the circumstances of their era. Tapes of battles don't stand up next to full length studio albums.
