shyt is even better the 2nd run through. now i'm really letting it sink in. the instrumentation on here is superb. the transitioning and beat switches keep every song from getting boring or repetitive. every track is consistently building to a finale. q tip is a genius.

the beat switch on here is fukkin insane. goes back and forth between an eerie bass line and a soulful ass saxophone. only tip can pull some shyt like this offThe background noises on Ego sounds like something straight out of The Conjuring

I'm not going to lie, I got emotional reading all of that.
I think the title is fitting. It has this feeling of closing the book. Like, "Thank you for all your love and support over the years. We'll take care of the rest."
The eerie part about it is that I was doing a project for class last semester when I was a HS senior and we had to design albums. I came up with a new Tribe album and I ended up finishing it after he died.
