no, not thrown together. That too was a fear of mine. This was made with pure sincerity and none of that mail in beats/verses shyt. They were all in the studio to do their verses.

A Tribe Called Quest’s We got it from Here… Thank You 4 Your service is expected to be the highest-charting debut next week after the iconic group released the statement project during perhaps the most tumultuous election season in American history.

Tribe’s swan song is projected to sell 73,000 to 83,000 equivalent album units, including streams when the Billboard Top 200 chart comes out next Monday, Hits Daily Double reports. It is expected to push up to 70,000 pure album sales.

The group’s sole #1 album is Beats, Rhymes and Life, which hit the top spot in 1996. Its last output, The Love Movement, peaked at #3 in 1998.
