It is heavily influenced by Jean-Francois Lyotard's view on postmodernism... the idea that there is no agreed upon truth anymore, everyone just has their own bubble of truth.

It takes away the power from corporations and governments but can be overwhelming as individuals. Spooky season. Took it in college. Read up on The Postmodern Condition if you want to go deeper.
