Some people on craigslist are delusional. I don't spend much time with those who are trying to get full value for their stuff. I explain to them the time and fees involved with eBay and some still hit back with that "but I can get x amount on amazon or eBay" like it matters. Craigslist is to benefit the purchaser AND the seller. The purchaser gets the item at the lower price and the seller gets the money and not have to worry about PayPal or eBay headaches.

It doesn't make sense to do so, I've had a few who come back to me trying to get what I initially offered and I lowball them out of spite.

I almost never pay the price folks ask for period even if the price is already good .
A lot of these people have to learn the hard way. Craigslist isn't the place to sell anything other than flagship cell phones and iPads at market value. all that other stuff better be priced to sell or it'll just sit there. That goes for game consoles too. Unless there's a shortage and it's a hot seller if you aren't knocking at least 40% off the retail price forget about it.
The bad part about it is I offered this guy about 75% of the retail value of his used item and he turned it down.

The "older" stuff is gold. Bundles are sold at crazy low prices most of the time.
If looking for a PS3 or XBOX 360 bundle, look at all the games and put their value at $5 each. It doesn't matter if its GTA 5, TLOU...whatever. $5 and make sure they all have their original cases, not some gamestop cases either
If that number is lower than what the person is asking for, just buy it...you will make your money back easily without even selling the console. I have never had anyone bother me for a $5 game, they just buy it and KIM. If the price is higher than the $5 per game price, get him down to whatever the cost is @ $3-4 per game (depending on the games). Then you can just sell the console lower than everyone else for an easy profit. If they have extra controllers that is even better.
Avoid Rockband and those damn guitar hero games...nobody wants those anymore. Sports games suck for reselling the most part too, but I am sure you knew that already.

Built from plastic and with that god awful touchwiz UI, nobody is dying to get those. ive been trying to sell a s5 in excellent condition for a month and the best offer ive gotten is 350, and ive gotten some as low as 250. 250 for a phone that came out less then a year ago

The GS5 is worth about $350-$400 at face value if its in flawless condition. The trick is to get someone to trade emotionally.
Yes, the iPhone of the android world. No android phone holds their value that well, but galaxy's somewhat do. I bet you can't even get $300 for a mint htc one on craigslist.

Nah he's right, Samsung phones ARE like the iPhones of Androids. Over here at least(NJ), Samsung Note 3/4's and Galaxy S phones are the most popular shyts out and they often are the ones being sold at higher prices than any other phone i've seen on Craigslist.that makes no sense

Someone threw away a samsung ln46c630 cause the screen was flickering. I ended up with it, googled the issue, turns out all u had to do was open it up and snip a little wire. Tv works good as new now.
