Ben Howland @UCLA was doin' his thing but the school and alumni wanted him to recruit McDonald's All American's instead of the hard nosed defensive minded players he was winning with. He fell off after doin' what he was told. And now Steve Alford is playing his son instead of dudes like Lavine, plus he's never had a deep tourny run anyways.

Arizona should've beaten Wisconsin yesterday. San Diego State should've sniffed a Final Four by now. Coach Romar @Washington should be getting all those ballers from Seattle but that's not happening. Oregon has the money and resources. Cal and Stanford are whatever. I wanna see what USC does next year. They have the former coach of Florida Gulf Coast.. he should be trying to get all the talent out of the LA area. Fresno State's coach Terry was an assistent at Texas. He's the one who recruited DJ Augustine, Durant, and Tristan Thompson to Texas.. he's slowly turning Fresno State around. Should be good next year.

-Plus one and dones.. nobody can build something. Have to wait and see:manny:

Pretty much sums it up. Arizona and SDSU were huge disappointments this year. I expect to see USC and UCLA to make some noise next year.

Those stacked UCLA teams from 10 years ago ran into the unstoppable force that was Florida so they never won a title.

:yeshrug: its unfortunate we lose all our best ballers to those midwest and east coast programs. its all cyclical though...these programs will get better, and the talent will follow.

That 07-08 UCLA team with Klove, Sabo and luc richard had the best chance Imo but they ran into a stacked veteran Memphis squad...

Seems like Alford has UCLA in the right direction....won the Pac tournament and sweet 16 in his first year

What happen to Washington though....?
