So do the black artists he signed that have no business with him and rappers are not afraid of shytting on their former executives for all their problems in life.
Lyor's magic was that he helped business men thrive instead of signing away dudes lives with Def Jam, but then he went to Atlantic/Warner and brought back the 360 hard body :leostare:




I don't disagree, Lyor jumped of banking to ride tour buses and do all the tedious work Russell didn't want to do. From doing all the street work to taking it past the 80s/early 90s backpacker times to making it a powerhouse in commercial music.

It was him and Russell, but Russell was more of a chairman role and Lyor the CEO. Like Jay/Biggs and Dame.
