I'm not disagreeing that the founding fathers meant Equality was for white men but what I am saying is that they are evolving in a way that is mean to close the loopholes. Over time we have worked around it for it to be more inclusive of other races and ethnicities (on paper at least). I never said the DoL and the constitution were the same thing. The founding cacs created the DoL with the intent set forth the ideas and principles behind a just and fair government, while maintaining several institutions that are the antithesis of sais principles.
