I’ve given up on a draymond offensive resurgence. As long as he’s engaged on all the other parts of the game I’m fine. It’s oubre that really needs to start heating up.

LOL the top of that post 'Draymond 4 pts' I started writing something last night and just couldn't be bothered and went to sleep :russ:Didn't realise I'd left that there.

But yeah, it's sad watching him right now refusing to even look at the rim. He airballed last night or grazed the rim and then Batum hits back to back 3s to ice the game. With such a long layoff I really got my hopes up that he worked on his shot and would keep defences honest every so often but it's worse than ever to start the season.

I had some hope after that 3 went in against Portland. Had some nice arc to it.. but its not there. He needs to continue driving and getting fouled, throw the lob or finish at the rim

There were times last night the his defender was sagging off of him literally under the basket. I don’t see why he doesn’t just dribble up a bit and shoot a foul line jumper.

Honestly to me it really says something about him that his 3 ball has regressed year after year when it should've been the other way around. He went from average shooter to one of the worst in the league.

I don't think he's putting the work in that people think he is. He might be trying to retire after this big contract ends.

I think it’s a mental thing for him. He’s lost confidence in his shot. His shot was always weird and ugly but at least he shot it with confidence in his younger days. You can tell he’s a bit hesitant to shoot the 3 even if he’s wide open.

Well that comes from not putting in the work. If you are putting up your 500 shots a day you're going to shoot differently than if you weren't.

Yeah if he put the reps in that he should have he would be letting it fly, make or miss.

I really want to give him the benefit of the doubt with covid but he's not even looking at the rim so it's definitely a confidence thing...which then affects the belated shot (either always too short or a complete brick with no in-between).
