nikkas aint give ayton or bagley time to develop into as good of players as luka so whats the difference :troll:

but in all seriousness I actually don't even dislike wiseman I didn't come at him until the bozo got extra defensive and sensitive for no reason, all I said initially was you can still believe in wiseman without acting like they just HAD to pass up on lamelo because he wouldnt fit, that's disingenuous and a lazy take

I think wiseman has the potential to develop into a great player and im definitely not rooting against him, however, lamelo is looking like a generational talent and putting up numbers rivaled by only rookie luka and lebron as a starter and he's only going to get better.. if the goal is to make the most out of the last years klay and steph have of their primes how does drafting a potential multi year project help that? lamelo could have helped in the interim AND in the future
Ok breh you got it I quit :hubie:

read my earlier post in the thread where I referenced the Spurs :sas2:

Difference is, Spurs drafted players who fit the theory of their team

Wiseman doesn't fit Warriors basketball. Melo fits Warriors (and Spurs for that matter) basketball far more so Wiseman.

Not trying to belabor the point. Can't turn back time. I hope he turns the corner ASAP for the sake of a team trying to compete.

can y'all nikkas give Wiseman some time cotdamn :gucci:

maybe, just maybe when it's all said and done the picks will work out for both teams :hubie:

this is like some pre-emptive stan wars shyt :francis:

they came into different circumstances, play different positions, and are going to be asked to fulfill different roles

19 year old kid played 3 games in college, missed some time this year due to covid and injury, and you BBB nikkas ready to declare the trajectory and narrative of his career. :snoop:

act like Kerr didn't get a lot of his coaching philosphy winning chips under with Tim Duncan and David Robinson under Pop brehs :francis:

the members of the Neva Lost congregation basically in this thread for the sole purpose of stanning and puffing their chests out about LaMelo and it's transparent as hell :unimpressed:

you gonna have to wait longer til halfway through a rookie season to fire off all those I-told-you-so's
cuz right now y'all are coming off really reactionary and in the moment :yeshrug:

I want the Warriors to have the best chance at competing for championships.

That simple. Don't care to get into a stan debate of any sort. Only talking basketball.

The same Warriors basketball that had Javale starting? The Warriors offense is flexible. Having a rim running center can collapse the defense and open up shooters or cutters.

Wiseman runs like a gazelle, has pogo stick jumping ability, has shown he can develop into a consistent outside and midrange shooter, blocks shots, already has elite agility for his size, but somehow he's a bad fit? :jbhmm:

again where was Lamelo supposed to fit when Dray has been the facilitator? :patrice:

You cats making this out to be a Sam Bowie/MJ situation gonna be looking dumb down the line

The same Warriors basketball that had Javale playing limited spot minutes.

Hard to be a great rim running center when you struggle to catch the ball cleanly. That is part of the concerns for Wiseman.

I don’t see a issue, those passes he misses are passes that he doesn’t expect. Also some of passes are thrown too hard at a close distance. It’s not like he’s Adonal Foyle or dampier

Yes, because he is bad at setting screens. Has bad awareness. Has bad hands and isn't a good passer. He also hasn't been good at defending in space. Notice how you listed all of those attributes and yet Kevon Looney is a better player for what the Warriors need.

This is like asking where was Iguodala supposed to fit when Draymond was the facilitator. The Warriors are not predicated on one player running the offense. They have relied on multiple ball handlers who can make decisions off the dribble and Melo fits into that theory seamlessly.

Nobody said Melo is MJ. Nobody said Wiseman is Bowie either.

He also bobbles passes that he is staring directly at and just fumbles them. He also bobbles loose balls and rebounds. It's a real problem for him.
