What's Harden going to make him do? Catch lobs?
When he was drafted, his role was to be a rim running roll man, and a lob threat

Warriors got him setting screens (which he cant do, and never gave the impression he could)
DHO's at the top of the key (which he cant do, and never gave the impression that he could)
There are even plays in the chicago game where dude was stationed in the corner to shoot a corner 3

It's plan old bad offense. Because u got the dude in a role he's not meant for. It looks bad bc it is bad. It's like when Steph sets screens for a bazemore 3. Makes no damn sense

the idea was to keep it simple with Wiseman,

No way the nets would try to play him like he's Zaza Pachulia or Nikola Jokic.

something is just missing. this team aint it

the heat have been a bad bad team...and they are traveling from Indiana to Miami...and we cant grab a lead on em? Abysmal.

I'm done betting on these nikkas too. ive lost faith in em

them having Oladipo now might have helped

Y'all talking about Wiseman being better off on another team, but he would get minute-scraps on the majority of other teams. Most teams wouldn't play a big man extensive minutes who doesn't know how to set screens properly and turn themselves inside-out on defensive rotations.

Some of y'all just need to face facts and acknowledge he isn't as good as y'all hoped he'd be. Being 7ft and athletic doesn't mean a cotdamn thing if you don't know how to play the game.

:unimpressed:

have a blood vendetta against a 20 year old brehs :deadrose:

he gets the least minutes by far of any of the top picks this year and you and other clowns hold it against him he doesn't get to put up empty stats on more playing time. Earlier in the season his advanced stats per 36 were among the best for a rookie center in decades. But somehow you, being the stat geek that you are, cuban b this at every opportunity in favor of sniping at this man like he's the opps at every opportunity :heh:

this is entirely Kerr being stubborn and the organization's fault for not being able to develop talent :manny:

you got all this laser focused vitriol for a dude who easentially came straight outta high school

ALSO, last week you said "Steve Kerr is the most criticized coach of all time"

my nikka for real?? :heh:

what if the criticism is valid :jbhmm:
everybody and they mama in this thread taking Kerr to task, and RIGHTLY so and you quiet as a church mouse :hhh:

you are transparent as shyt with your agendas :unimpressed:

You're admitting he can't set screens. A big man who can't set screens....

The reason he isn't being utilized more as a rim runner and lob threat is for that very fact.

He's soft, and everything he does is half-hearted. If he used his body as a weapon when screening, the lane would be open on every possession for him to run down. Do you think he's getting extensive burn on the majority of other squads when he can't set screens properly? The only reason why they're force-feeding him minutes is they've got to get a return on their investment. If he was a second-round pick playing like he is, his ass would be glued to the bench.

Im just tired of seeing players utilized incorrectly

same thing happened with Poole last season and the first half of this one. It’s why Brad Wannamaker got way more time than Poole after EVERYONE and their mothers were screaming at Kerr

this offense is strictly for shooters. STRICTLY. That’s why slashers like Kelly and Wiggins are jumpshooters all of a sudden (Wiggins is doing well tho admittedly). The bigs are pretty much relegated to constant screens and dribble hand offs (which, again, are screens) to get a team of inconsistent shooters open. Then u have Paschall, who is strictly a 4, playing a ton of small-ball center, when he does get on the court

It’s just a mix of misusing talent, and not developing talent. And it’s very clear to see at this point

Tbf, a TON of big men in this league suck at screen setting

Hell, players in general do. But he hasn’t improved at it at all, that’s the issue. And the things he does do well, are never used.

How are Kelly and Wiggins supposed to slash with any regularity when there's no spacing?

I said this before the season, but the ironic thing with this team is: they've got the greatest shooter that's ever lived, yet they've got the worst spacing in the entire league.

Draymond takes 2 threes per game and hits them at 27%
Wiseman takes 1 three per game
Paschall takes 1 three per game
Looney takes 0.3 of a three per game.

During a time when spacing is more important than ever, the Warriors have a big man rotation that looks like its shooting is straight out of the 1950s. Wiggins and Oubre are forced to be shooters simply for the functionality of the offense. If they don't shoot, who will? Who else is going to space the floor to allow everyone to co-exist? It's not a misuse of talent, it's a lack of talent and a lack of the right personnel.

This team has been in win-now mode for the last half a decade, you can't expect them to develop talent. It's been Steph, Klay, and Draymond (then the addition of KD) with vets. It's mutually exclusive to their timeline, which is why it made no cotdamn sense to draft Wiseman. You don't develop talent when you're trying to contend because you've already past that point.

It's why Bron ships out the young players whenever he moves teams because he ain't got time for that shyt when he's trying to win rings.

Dont worry, he'll have a good game next time and then we'll be like

"We should def try to keep Oubre during the offseason :wow: "

in all seriousness, theres a reason why the Suns went undefeated in the bubble after he left. Dude's archetype is the "big numbers on a losing team" guy :yeshrug:
He was trending up for about a month. It really seemed like he was finally getting the system but then he fukked up his wrist and just reverted back to his 1 vs. 3 ways.
