Kerr be killing me with these rotations

NO reason to have JTA play as long as he did tonight. Literally not a single, solitary reason
:usure:

He was arguably the Warriors' best player; he was hustling his ass off on both ends of the floor. He was the only one who defended KD well. I'd say that's a pretty big reason given that KD was tearing through every other defender. Paschall was the one that shouldn't have played as long as he did.

Its true

im a curry stan but if he cant take this team to a playoffs off sheer competitiveness, heart and experience then ima have to look at him differently. I dont want to but he gonna have to be held accountable

even Dame had CJ. Steph has Wiggins

Like I said during preseason, I think we're going to be fighting to make the playoffs. We don't have a legit number 2 option and the open looks steph creates are going to mediocre shooters like wiggins and oubre. Baring another season ending injury from steph, we're not gonna be the worst team in the league, but I think we're around a 40-45 win team.

Wiggins is trash. He doesn't look any different than when he was with the timberwolves

Pascal should is strictly a role player off the bench. He has to play the 4. He can't guard wing players.

Oubre didn't shoot it well, but i liked his energy.

Wiseman looked ok. I was impressed with him pushing the break off a rebound.

I wish Klay didn't get hurt. :francis:

Wiggins and Oubre will no doubt shoot better, but the issue I have with them, well, more specifically the former is, the lack of understanding of making the right decision. They both defaulted to ISO mode, particularly Wiggins, when they couldn't get it going, instead of playing within the offense. Yes, it's only been one game, but neither of them has shown a high BBIQ or an aptitude for making the right play, all throughout their careers.

Wiggins resorting to backing down defenders in the post reminded me of all those Klay post-ups under Jackson, and nobody wants to revisit those days.

Yea but the problems are bigger, they can’t run the regular offense with this roster. Kerr has to adapt, it’s clear whats was going on, nets were all over steph and leaving everybody else open. This roster can work but adjustments must be made.

Kerr has talked about never running set plays, and allowing the team to make reads based on what is happening in-game. That's not gonna work for this team. He will HAVE TO change the way he coaches. Something more concrete

Obviously getting wiseman and mulder more touches should be the next agenda. The warriors have to run two offenses, when Steph is on and off the court. They have to go more iso and drive more when Steph is sitting.

does anybody know the process of buying out jessup from aus?

i dont think Jessup is leaving australia this year for real. and yes, wiseman and Mulder should get more minutes. JTA and Poole simply dont have it

Paschall should ONLY guard power forwards, and stop dribbling as much. Also having him play the 3 is a waste. Dude is a power forward only

Wiseman gotta be used in more pick and roll and i dont see how we only got him 1 lob. Dude is over 7 feet tall! And he has to improve on defense. Ofc this was his first game he's played in a long fukking time.

Kerr needs to REALLY think about what his rotations will be. Some of what i saw tonight rotation-wise had me like :snoop:
