Lonzo got the height and length to be a lock down defender.. he’s one of the better defensive guards in the league

IDK man, we already got one player rehabilitated in Wiggins, im not tryna do it again.

Lonzo is a complete black hole on offense. Dude wont even try to attack the basket. i dont care how flashy his passes are.

And wiggins is different. he could always score. his issue was not living up to being the next michael jordan ( ) and having to carry the load for a losing-ass franchise like the timberwolves

Lonzo didnt do well on the lakers, he went to New orleans and still didnt do well. Then they trade jrue holiday, who everyone said was limiting lonzo, and lonzo is STILL messing up. Lonzo is a legit bust, not because he didnt live up to being the greatest player ever, but because all he can do is play defense and pass. And those 2 things arguably arent worth taking when you have his awful offense. i wouldnt trade Oubre for that

I'd rather just keep oubre. The pieces we get back from the pelicans are not that intriguing to me. Everyone knows about his shooting woes, but i think he's been playing a lot better lately and his defense has been good.

kelly is much better than Lonzo offensively

kelly will at least drive to the basket and get to the line. Lonzo can have a clear lane to the basket, and try to pass that shyt

I was an Oubre fan originally but y'all more attached to him than I thought y'all'd be

I'd do the trade for one reason and one reason only....Oubre's awareness is so fukking horrible it makes it hard to watch him sometimes.

We're 16 games into the season and I can say confidently he's maybe had 3 good games. The rest were either meh or just god awful. The thing with Redikk is that even though he's shooting bad this year nobody is gonna help off him cause he's still JJ. That helps Steph and the offense tremendously. That's why I mentioned Hart cause he does everything Oubre does while also being cheaper now and long term.

Oubre on next years squad off the bench is intriguing tho.

The one thing this squad is severely lacking in is BBIQ, and Lonzo has that in abundance, I just don't know if that's enough to make up for his shortcomings nearly everywhere else...

Like I said Oubre need to recognize his lane on this squad and how more he can be effective.. When he let his defense create his offense dude is dangerous and teams don’t even account for that.. He can be the ultimate athletic 3&D guy

This season, Steph follows up good games with pretty bad ones. We’ll see how it goes in 2 days
