I’m thinking Meyers didn’t take Melo because of Lavar if we keeping it 100... There was more of a sample size to evaluate Melo than Weisman 3 college games

Look at this dumbass muh'fukka reciting meaningless box score numbers that he can't even contextualize properly because he's not watching Wizards games.
Deni plays on a team with two ball-dominant guards in Westbrook and Beal, where he barely gets to touch the ball. He has no plays run for him and ends up getting the scraps of possessions. In a motion offense like the Warriors, where he'd be getting the ball more regularly and put in a position to be a playmaker, he'd be putting up these box score #s that you desperately cling to because you don't know shyt about the game outside of them. He's typically making the right plays on both ends of the floor, when the rest of the team are out there trying to get theirs without any regard to the benefit of the team; it's why the Wizards are as bad as they are because they don't play as a cohesive unit.
It's no coincidence in the game that Westbrook and Beal didn't play he put up a 20-point performance and nearly led the Wizards to an upset over the Heat. But you didn't know that, because all you're looking at is the box score stats without any care of context.
That's the type of impact he's having already on defense; not the defensive sieve that is Wiseman.
Past that, I told you from the muh'fukken start, that pick should've been used on players with high BBIQ, and/or who fit the Warriors culture, and/or who're experienced, and/or who fit the direction the league has been headed in. Deni is one example, so is LaMelo, so is Haliburton, so is every other muh'fukka besides Wiseman. The Warriors should've used that pick to trade for someone like Harden. Anything, but Wiseman.
But no, dumbass muh'fukkas like yourself were enamored with his size and how the Warriors needed a big man, without ever really taking into account his lack of skillset/BBIQ, lack of feel for the game, and ultimately how long it would take for him to develop in a climate where versatility and shooting are at an all-time high. Now y'all are stuck with a bum ass nikka who's never gonna lead this team anywhere, nor is he gonna contribute to winning as the final period of Steph/Klay/Draymond comes to an end.
