Not drafting Deni isn't the problem. As I told you, he merely represents the type of player that this squad needs. They don't need non-shooting ass big men who can't defend out on the perimeter who're going to take years to develop. And again, as I told you, trading the pick for proven players was the way to go.

I don't want Deni, at all.

He's merely a representation of what this team needs to maximize their chances of winning next season. His style of play is Warriors basketball; he represents all that this team has built their success on, while simultaneously fulfilling a desperate need - spacing/shooting in the frontcourt. Because at it currently stands, the Warriors' spacing is horrific, and it's arguably in a worse state than it's ever been at any point during this run (not counting last season). Wiseman is an idealized representation of a position that is becoming extinct and has had no bearing on the success of this team.

Warriors need Deni-type players who can provide shooting, versatility, playmaking, and don't need the ball to be effective. The Warriors don't need Wiseman-type players who are quite literally the antithesis to the brand of basketball they play.

I'm gonna sit back and watch you and the rest of the Wiseman apologists die on this hill, when y'all get fed up when he doesn't pan out quite like you thought he would.

He's got all the makings of becoming a special player. Hornets finally got their franchise piece to build around.

I gotta say, I'm looking forward to seeing what LaMelo can do this season. If anyone can anchor this draft class, it's going to be him.

I've come to like LaMelo as a prospect over the last year. He's one of a very few players in the draft that has an elite tool.

Not in MCW's wildest dreams would he ever have LaMelo's ability.

LaMelo is basically what the Basketball Gods had in mind when they created MCW, but they had too much malt liquor in their systems they did shyt all back to front.

So yeah, nxgga, I saw how good LaMelo was going to be before the season started, and I damn sure as hell knew he was going to better than Wiseman.
