@8:10

long video but worth a listen, the man is educated on things.

Christopher Cadwell's book, which criticizes the 1964 Civil Rights Act as a source of oppression for white Americans. The speaker explains that Cadwell admits that many white Americans view the Civil Rights Movement and the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as an oppression because they are used to having power and must share it with black people. The speaker also highlights Cadwell's perspective that the implementation of the Civil Rights Act has come with substantial costs in terms of money, freedom, and social stability

Summary:

  • Concerns over attempts to reintroduce segregation and undermine the Civil Rights Movement.
  • The criticism of the 1964 Civil Rights Act by conservative groups as oppressive to white Americans.
  • The fear that advancements in civil rights, such as the Voting Rights Act and the Civil Rights Act, could be reversed.
  • The portrayal of civil rights laws as infringing upon the rights of white Americans to associate freely.
  • Efforts by some to frame civil rights progress as a source of racial conflict and division.

But the Coli would say that The Civil Rights Act of 1964 holds back black people's potential.

Well just about all the far Right/White Nationalist themes are being mainstreamed. All that's left is to go full fascist.

As an aside many Libertarians have screamed this for a while on some "personal freedom" shyt so this is not a new argument.

The libertarian technocrats with billions like Thiel and Musk worry me because they can implement and reverse things at a sublime level.

Through technology vastly farther ahead than any congress.

Whenever the POC always say “why do you guys always make it about race” remind them our rights and humanity has always been at risk. It’s not us trying make people “know their place”

Libertarians are so weird. They want to be “free” to impose rigid hierarchy on people. Why do they think the Victorian era ended? Why do you think places with rigid hierarchy’s embraced music like jazz? People do not like being squeezed dry. No matter how much they love Aristotle or nieszche, slavery is not natural to anyone. Everyone has fought back
