It's hard to believe it has been 19 years since the Dodgers were in the World Series.
LA is easily a comparable market to NY so the finances should not have kept the Dodgers from competing (particularly on an international level).

And if you consider the talent that went through LA in the 1990s, it's even more unbelievable.
