The only other non-center that averages more shots at the rim than Melo this year is Lebron. The problem isn't him being aggressive, the problem is he misses too many layups. Some of it being he's gets hacked w/ no calls, other times he's just missing point blank opportunities.

Melo shoots a ton and is inefficient at close range....no shyt.

what actually proves Melo enjoys contact? Why is he such a poor finisher at the rim? The rib pads arent absurd? Getting hit in the eye and getting a tech wasnt absurd? Melo doesnt enjoy getting touched...he complains a ton after non calls.

Arod was always going to be hated because jeter never embraced him the comparison is silly other team players /the fans were killing arod in the media while only posada and mo defended him . Torre and jeter treated him like a pariah.

He's always in the top 5-10 in free throws attempted

A person with common sense would come to the conclusion that he likes initiating contact & doesnt like when he doesnt get calls
