He was a good player that got hyped because he was Asian in the biggest market in the world and Melo didnt like him getting more shine than he was.

:manny:

bizarre people hate on the kid.

I think Melo had every right to be offended at the idea that people wanted him traded, because some 2nd rounder had a few good games, and people were excited simply because he wasnt black. Why should Melo appreciate racism? Melo has been one of the best players in the league for close to a decade. You dont think he had a right to be insulted?

Jeremy Lin Stats, News, Videos, Highlights, Pictures, Bio - Houston Rockets - ESPN

vs.

Raymond Felton Stats, News, Videos, Highlights, Pictures, Bio - New York Knicks - ESPN

Lin isnt even Raymond Felton status, yet not surprisingly he makes twice as much as him, and correct me if Im wrong, but I dont remember Feltonsanity ever taking over NY

Now, STFU until you learn how to and actually present an argument, and string a coherent sentence together,

Yeah- your argument was essentially the NYK fan base only got behind Lin because he wasnt black. If that's not trolling I dont know what is.

It was part of the reason, you were implying it was the only reason. Actually you said it because he wasnt black.

Please shut up. Take your sanctimonious act somewhere else.

it was cool until ppl who didnt no what da fukk they were talking about started voicing their opinions. ppl were seriously talking about trading carmelo anthony and building around lin. It got very annoying and it divided knick fans

the media and da dumb ass coach only made it worse

i repeat, ppl were talking about trading carmelo anthony and building around lin.let that sink in for a bit.

Not gonna lie I loved the linsanity thing and wanted us to keep him.when I found out we was getting Felton and not Lin I was on some fukk Felton he sucks..And I mean he did suck with Portland :manny:. Take my words back tho Felton has proved the better fit for this team.

You're missing my point here.

Im saying, dont give me this "Lin is an angel as pure as the driven snow, who isnt motivated by superficial wants or greed like those other materialistic NBA nikkers..." when Lin, in fact, dumped his long time agent for a high powered one, so he could attract the biggest offer available, and in the process sht on the only organization that was willing to give him a legit shot for the first time in his NBA life.

Lin fans want to have their cake and eat it too.

I think I get your point...but who ever even brought that up tho?...and agents get fired all the time (Jennings just fired his).

It's all subjective, some talk about loyalty while others (especially players) say "it's a business", and the same fan will switch up depending on who' he's talking about...I remember the Decision, I was talking about loyalty and others were saying "he's a free man" (Someone even said "he's not a slave" or something like that smh). TBH I wish there was more loyalty in sports, but that's just not the case and we all know that, so why be surprised when Lin isn't "loyal".No one ever said he was. And it's not like he was a serious project for the Knicks either tho, he just played because off the bs situation we were in. Started with short-term contract, and we didn't extend his contract asap (ol' "Let the market decide" crap). Anyway, without the injuries and the desperation, Lin doens't enter the rotation at all.

Both parts are "to blame" for him leaving IMO, but all that I care about NOW (I admit being in the anti-Felton group) is that the Knicks are winning.

About what????

About jeremy lin

You're talkin about loyalty in sports? :russ: Teams will trade, release, buyout a player when it suits them and he cashed in on the once in a million opportunity he got in life.Who wouldn't do what lin did? Also didn't lin help the knicks get the cable deal for msg network on time warner cuz the demand to watch the knicks was ridiculous during this run while they were negotiating the cable deal or somethin like that?

He helped the knicks just as much as they helped him.He owed them nothing you sound bitter about him going to houston
